The Bruce Inn B&B - Falkland

Central location right across the street from the ancient cathedral, well-appointed room. And short walk to the center of town, Falkland, which is a lovely, ancient Fife town, and the pub.

Simply no complaints whatsoever, very lovely stay. Pleasant, spotlessly clean hotel with delightful views. Very special and exceptionally nice location of the property, right by plenty eating places, the centre of Falkland, and the restaurant, bar and beer garden, which would have felt like a treat after a year of barely doing anything like that. Again, not far from a royal palace.

The inn features a charming facade and serves very good food, including delicious seafood chowder. The room was comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service. The old flooring creaks, which may lead to noise disturbances if guests above are heavy-footed. The location is ideal, with convenient parking and proximity to a historic palace.

The dinner we shared was good, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Staying with family made it even more special.

My kids wished there was a play area for them.

I had a good stay. The fish and chips were the best I've had and the breakfast was fresh and generous. The shared toilet was clean, though a bit tricky to flush.

We loved exploring the Heritage Centre and hitting the local golf course in the area. The room was cozy, and the service was fantastic. Totally enjoyed our meals too! Don't miss the evening bar sessions. They're a hit! The beautiful town vibe.

Only downside was the room getting pretty hot with a window that didn't seem to open.

The ceiling lights in the room needed examination!!! A little attention to the flushing mechanism of the loo would enhance the experience!!! Brightening up the overall lighting is a must!!!
